Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday

It hasn’t been procrastination really, it’s been just plain too busy to even think of snapping pictures of the ICADs to post them. I finally did last night really late just so I could catch up with a post on them.

#9 – prompt: stripes. I kept this one real simple since I’m not a huge striped fan. All you need is two lines running side by side for them to be stripes after all right? Acrylic paints is all that was used for this one.
#10 – prompt: black and white. I obviously didn’t stick with the b&w thinking…but it got me started and I really like how it turned out. Used collage elements and acrylic paints.
#11 – prompt: alphabet stamps. This one came from my personal motto, “no hands”. I used collage elements, stamps and ink, and some watercolour pencils.
# 12 – prompt: experiment. I see great journal pages where people collage all sorts of elements to create these great little people and creatures. I’ve always wanted to do it but have never felt like I could. This tiny format was the perfect one to try it out on. Not sure I’m a fan of how this one turned out but I could totally do more. Used collage elements, watercolours, and a micron pen.
#13 – prompt: chaos. Micron pen and watercolours.
#14 – prompt: experiment. I was drawn to this prompt this week, I did it twice! Used a sharpie fine tipped marker and prisma coloured pencils. I’ve never used these coloured pencils before but it was so fun I’ll be doing it again for sure. Drawing this little abstract creature was so much fun and I love how it turned out.
Well, that’s all the fun I’ve been having with ICAD this past week.
Cheers,
B

Great ICADs! I love how you have such a diversity of different styles and materials, from collage to paints to coloured pencils. I think the stripes and the “no hands” ones are my favourites.
Hi B, these are great…love the different ways mediums you’ve chosen…
Brianne, these cards are all so great! I really love them all, for all different kinds of reasons. You are really making the most of the ICAD challenge, which I think is awesome, and what it’s all about!
